Snugums is a small light weight Somatron meant to be held and hugged. He is vibrotactile active containing one Somatron transducer. A small amplifier is included to power the transducer for tactile music stimulation. The cover is easily removed for washing.

Snugums is designed to resemble a pensive looking generic animal that immediately invokes the desire to be held, loved and comforted. It is well known that invoking these emotions will create the same feeling in return. Snugums has big brown eyes, a small nose, and is covered in a soft, washable, cloth material. This covering is easily zipped off for washing and/or replacing if necessary.

All that’s necessary to produce the Vibrotactile effect is just use it with a portable CD, cassette or MP3 player. (Amplifier included.) Most music will work, however, for maximum vibrations music with low frequencies is the most tactile.
